From the “Other” screen in the app, tap "General Settings" -> “Edit Categories.” Then, tap the “Edit” button to the top right.
A negative sign in a red circle will appear next to each category. Tap this sign to make the delete button appear. Tap the delete button.
You can also swipe the category you would like to delete to the left on the category edit screen to delete it.
